In the Rhythm of Daily Life is a photography project that explores the quiet beauty of everyday routines and shared human moments. This work is part of a larger series of photographs that focus on simple actions we repeat daily, actions that often go unnoticed but shape our sense of time, connection, and belonging.
The first image shows a woman cooking, a moment of care, focus, and intimacy. The second image captures a woman and a man working together in a home garden, engaged in planting, tending, and nurturing the space around them. These scenes reflect ordinary activities, yet they carry emotional weight through repetition, effort, and presence. For me, these moments represent how daily life is built through small, continuous gestures rather than grand events.
The photographs are presented in black and white to remove distraction and place emphasis on movement, texture, and emotion. By eliminating color, the images feel more timeless and universal, allowing the viewer to focus on the rhythm of the actions themselves rather than specific details. The contrast highlights the balance between stillness and motion, solitude and cooperation.
Through In the Rhythm of Daily Life, I wanted to document how routine becomes a form of quiet poetry. These daily tasks create a steady rhythm that grounds us, connects us to others, and gives meaning to our everyday lives, even when we are not fully aware of it.
