My project explores peace, solitude, and the quiet moments I experience when I am alone. The idea came from a short brainstorming exercise where I listed the first three things that came to mind: driving alone, listening to music, and spending time with my cat. I realized that the activities that make me happiest are usually done by myself. This became the main theme, showing that solitude can be calming and empowering.

I was inspired by manga because it expresses emotion through quiet scenes and atmosphere. The final lino print uses a manga-like layout, with the main image in black for strong contrast, and the title “Solitude” in red. The work shows that being alone can bring peace, clarity, and self-connection.
